"The 7 weddings" is a factual format that follows seven different marriages from the wedding and seven years ahead to the famous 'seven year itch'. It's a love chronicle that examines the art of getting a marriage to last.

The format is based on seven weddings. In seven programs we meet seven couples in the middle of their wedding dinner, where the best man brings a toast on the future of the couple. We follow the seven couples in seven programs a year. One couple in each program, from anniversary to anniversary - seven years into the future.

The question is who will stay together? What does it take to get a relationship to survive in a society that has one of the worlds highest divorce rates?
